Keith Gordon Speaks on Landowner/Farmer Leases at Solar Farm Summit

On July 10, 2024, at the Solar Farm Summit conference in Chicago, IL, DWGP attorney Keith Gordon participated on a panel of industry experts Brianna Schroeder and David Rieser to discuss the topic, “Legal Primer for Landowners Considering AgPV”. The panel focused on common terms and concerns for landowners when considering long-term leases with solar developers and how to integrate best practices for ongoing land stewardship, agrivoltaics, grazing, and land restoration.  Keith’s focus was on providing the developer’s perspective on why certain terms in options and leases are critical to their success and financing and how landowners and farmers can best position themselves to meet mutually beneficial outcomes.
