On July 10, Peter Scanlon, Keith Gordon, Sean Neal, Nina Wu, and Kevin Kurzeja of DWGP presented on the topic of “Working with Electric Utility Contracts for Non-Lawyers.” This course provided insight into key terms and provisions of electric utility contracts, ranging from power purchase agreements, engineering, procurement and construction agreements, and operations and maintenance agreements. In addition, DWGP described their experiences in negotiating electric utility contracts and strategies to help attain the best results for companies and customers, as well as current tax crediting rules of interest in electric energy contracting.
