Paige L. Punzalan

Experience

As a law graduate in DWGP’s Sacramento office, Ms. Punzalan began her career with the Firm as a Summer Associate in 2024.  Ms. Punzalan provides assistance to clients in the practice areas of energy, environmental, regulatory, and administrative law.

During law school, Ms. Punzalan served as a law clerk for the Green Energy Institute at Lewis & Clark Law School where she engaged in legal and policy research, drafting detailed analyses of existing and proposed strategies to advance climate policies in Oregon. Additionally, Ms. Punzalan interned with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office in the Colorado Department of Law’s Natural Resources and Environment Section, completing legal research and assisting with assignments regarding regulatory areas ranging from air and water quality and conservation to hazardous waste. Ms. Punzalan also worked as a law clerk for the Federal Public Defender in the District of Oregon, volunteered at the Portland Community College CLEAR Clinic, and worked as a lawyering teaching fellow and research assistant at Lewis & Clark Law School. Further, Ms. Punzalan served as an Executive Editor for Lewis & Clark Law School’s Environmental Law.

Prior to law school, Ms. Punzalan worked as an intern for the Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts, coordinating legislative outreach and assisting with broadening the scope of an ongoing cost-share program to promote residential and agricultural conservation.

Ms. Punzalan is awaiting bar results and working under the supervision of firm principals, members of the California and District of Columbia Bars.
