Abigail is a non-attorney energy analyst at Duncan, Weinberg, Genzer & Pembroke, P.C. Her responsibilities include filing pleadings, monitoring the latest developments in energy regulation, and conducting research as it pertains to the conduct of public utilities with varied jurisdictional requirements. She primarily provides research and analysis on the regulations, policies, and standards of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in both natural gas and electric industries as it governs issues involving utility and pipeline revenue requirements, transmission rates and incentives, electric transmission planning and cost allocation, pipeline transportation rates, compliance with FERC’s pro-forma open access transmission tariff, and participation in regional energy and capacity markets. Additionally, she conducts marketing research and prepares responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) for projects from both current clients and new entities.
