Lisa Gast and Sean Neal Presented on Electric Reliability Trends and Predictions at the 2023 APPA Legal and Regulatory Conference

Our own Lisa Gast and Sean Neal co-presented on Electric Reliability Trends and Predictions at the American Public Power Association (APPA) Legal and Regulatory Conference in Seattle, WA on October 16, 2023.  Electric utilities are facing accelerating challenges to electric reliability, ranging from extreme weather conditions to a rapidly-changing resource mix to more sophisticated cyberattacks.  Revisions to the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Rules of Procedure appear to be targeted to address these rapid changes.  Lisa Gast and Sean Neal enjoyed discussing with colleagues in the public power space how the industry is getting out ahead of these challenges.
