DWGP Attorneys Present at APPA’s 2024 Legal & Regulatory Conference

On October 20-23, several DWGP attorneys presented at this year’s American Public Power Association’s Legal and Regulatory Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.  Peter Scanlon and Nina Wu offered attendees an overview of FERC’s Order No. 2222 on distributed energy resource aggregation and how the various Independent System Operators and Regional Transmission Organizations are implementing FERC’s Order.  Lauren Perkins joined other energy professionals in discussing the implications of the SCOTUS landmark order implicating administrative law, Loper Bright v. Raimondo, which overturned the long-standing Chevron decision.  Andrea Sarmentero joined Salt River Project’s Alysha Gilbert to delve into the generator interconnection reforms required by FERC Order Nos. 2023 and 2023-A.  And Lisa Gast joined Susie Berlin and Joy Mastache in leading a lively, interactive discussion on issues facing women in the industry at the Women in Public Power breakfast.
