Ms. Singer joined the firm as counsel in October 1996. Her practice focuses on providing support to energy service companies and facilitating international energy project development and other complex transactions. Ms. Singer has served as Executive Director of the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) since 1986, and continues to do so today. Her range of policy and administrative activities involve a variety of energy efficiency companies, manufacturers, project developers, financial institutions and groups throughout the country with similar interests. She speaks often and serves as the Treasurer of the International Fund for Renewable Energy and Efficiency, Vice Chairman of the Energy Efficiency Export Council and serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Export Council for Renewable Energy. She has led trade missions to Hungary, the Czech Republic, Brazil, Chile, and Australia. She was previously with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Lane and Edson as a consultant. Prior to joining NAESCO, she served for five years with Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust, rising to the position of Second Vice President, New York Corporate Banking Division, where she worked on evaluating credit and trade finance needs, providing capital market assessment and international loan transactions for multinational companies. Prior to that, she was in the bank’s Houston office where she worked with troubled loans in their oil and gas portfolio. She also previously worked with the Securities Industry Association in Washington, D.C. and ran the office of a New Jersey Assemblyman.
